About the wine
Founded in 1880, Chiodi Ascona is today — together with Carlevaro Bellinzona acquired in 2009 — one of the 10 largest companies in Ticino in the field of wine and brandy production. In addition to the company's own production with approx. 150 tons of Merlot grapes per year, there is the import and sale of Swiss, Italian and French products. Thanks to the tireless presence of previous managing director Fabio Arnaboldi in the 1980s, Chiodi maintains an extensive network of contacts in the Bordeaux region. The company with twenty employees and two wineries is firmly rooted in the family tradition
