As a lucky charm, the guardian angel stands in the shape of a statue in every wine cellar. This has accompanied Aurelio Montes since its foundation and holds the protective hand over the excellent wines. Aurelio Montes has made it onto the international wine list not only because of this, but also thanks to his great feeling for new terroirs and top wines. He has discovered Chile's potential and set himself the goal of wines of the highest quality. Today, he cultivates 800 hectares of vineyards in Apalta, Marchigüe and cooler Zapallar. The winery is family-owned, at the head of course Aurelio Montes, who is already supported by the second generation, by his son Aurelio Montes junior.
