About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Turaia Bolgheri Rosso DOC. The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Alfredo Pellegrini conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or red meat.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red On the nose, an intense, persistent bouquet unfolds with notes of vanilla, fine spices and ripe blueberries and cherries. On the palate, the wine is warm and soft, with round tannins and a fruity-spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Starters with game, lamb or beef, but also with hearty Italian pasta.
Vinification
The grapes are fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After gentle pressing, the wine is initially aged in French barriques for three months. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are then assembled and aged for a further three months. Before being sold, the wine ages in the bottle for another three months.
