About the wine
Simone Santoro, a young winemaker, continues the Melillo family's winemaking tradition, which has been rooted in Puglia for generations, with dedication and great passion. Growing up in a family that has been growing and producing wine since 1833, Simone has inherited the knowledge passed on from generation to generation as well as her love for the land and the vine. What sets him apart, however, is his innovative vision and his determination to make a unique grape variety known worldwide: Francavidda.

Tasting note
On the nose, interesting notes of blueberries and black cherries, wrapped in a delicate smoky and spicy veil, with a pleasant aftertaste of dried fruit. The taste is persistent, with an elegant freshness and minerality that add to its complexity.
