About the wine
In 2001, the successful architect Alfredo Arribas began taking care of the old, partly family-owned vineyards in Priorat and Montsant and founded the two wineries Portal del Montsant and Portal del Priorat. Alfredo painstakingly restored the old, steep vineyards and cultivates them in accordance with integrated production guidelines. His recipe for success is old vines, exceptional locations and careful treatment of nature. In order to guarantee the quality of his wines, he relies on very low but high-quality yields. His Priorat wines are unique in the truest sense of the word and are bursting with charm. Chapeau!

Tasting note
Extremely dense dark red. Fantastic bouquet with aromas of wild berries, blackberries, cedarwood, truffles, peat, beautifully mineral. On the palate, the Tros de Clos is very dense and compressed, fresh, with the best, youthful tannin, lots of substance and infinitely long-lasting. Decant beforehand. An almost supernatural Cariñena. The grapes come from a single vineyard that was planted in 1911.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended with vegetables, spicy food and red meat. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase for this wine: now until 2025.
