About the wine

In Aigle - located in the heart of Chablais - the 10 employees of the over 100-year-old, independent, cooperative traditional winery with passion produce traditional Vaud wines - and since the formation of a decisive joint stock company, they have also produced surprising modern, innovative and award-winning products. Cellier du Chablais bought a large part of the vines around the world-famous Château d'Aigle from General Henri Guisan. The grapes of 135 winemakers, who keep their yields low for quality reasons and traditionally harvest by hand, are processed as naturally as possible. The result: a wide range of products from a single source, from bottle quality to liter quality in half-liter bottles. The unique terroir with its mixture of limestone soils, sediment, sandstone and clay from the mountains is responsible for the floral and mineral aromas, and the wines of Celliers du Chablais owe their intense fruit aromas to the many hours of sunshine.
