About the wine
You can describe the landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft with words such as hilly or mountainous. However, the Swiss winery Cottinelli is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Tasting note
Dark red color with purple reflections. On the nose, lots of blackberry with fine roasted aromas. Well-structured and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of black berries, coffee and vanilla. Cabernet and Zweigelt give Tremune its body and fullness. Soft and supple with a pleasant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cheese platters, cheese cakes, capuns, beef, roast pork and chops.
Vinification
The vinification is carried out separately by grape variety in modern stainless steel tanks. The grapes are aged separately and separated by grape variety for 12 months in French Allier oak barriques.
