Tasting note
On the nose, intense aromas of ripe dark berries, black cherries, tobacco, cedarwood and fine roasted aromas from barrique aging. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and elegant with dense fruit, well-integrated tannins, fine spiciness and a long, harmonious finish — a powerful yet sophisticated barrique wine with depth and storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with beef stew, lamb loin, game dishes, truffle pasta, mushroom risotto or mature mountain cheese. Also ideal with a hearty polenta with salsiccia or Mediterranean cuisine with intense aromas.
Vinification
Aging for 30 months in 225 liter French oak barrels.
