Tasting note
Brilliant, dense ruby red. On the nose, it impresses with its aromatic diversity and complexity. Lots of roasted aromas and spicy notes, vanilla, cinnamon, but also licorice. Plus aromas of ripe blackberries and cherries. Rich but velvety tannins on the palate, balanced structure with lots of power and texture. Intense fruit aroma and extract. Impresses with density and elegance - long-lasting finish. ONLY A FEW BOTTLES AVAILABLE - A RARITY!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, hearty dishes, hard cheeses.
Vinification
After traditional fermentation, further aging for 18 months in 500 liter French oak barrels.
