Tasting note
A real rarity, because single-varietal Touriga Nacional's are (still) rather rare. Inviting nose with aromas of dark berries, plums and figs, plus spicy notes of mocha and licorice, caressed with a touch of orange blossom tones. Deep on the palate, elegant and complex, with a nice length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fine meat dishes, such as roast kids from the oven with herbs and garlic, juicy cutlets from pata negra pork, but also with wild chicken such as partridge with plum jus or wild pigeon with porcini mushrooms.
