About the wine
A wine that has achieved the balance desired by “Reimitz” Klaus “Reimitz”, one of the world's best interpreters of Sangiovese, decided to retire in 2007 after 25 years with Montevertine. However, it was clear to him that he could not do without a vineyard and so in 2011, in cooperation with Johannes Davaz, he discovered an old Sangiovese vineyard in the forests above Tavarnelle. This is how the project began for a great Sangiovese, which Buonvini offers “exclusively for Switzerland”.
