About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Le Vigne di Silvia masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this hearty Cabernet Franc 2019 — Toscana IGT Itinerante. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Franc with meatballs with tomato sauce or lamb.

Tasting note
The elegance of a great vine that has found its preferred terroir in Bolgheri, a wine that can evoke emotions. An important red wine, the result of meticulous attention in the vineyard and in the cellar, with the sole aim of supporting nature in its most harmonious form. On the nose, it is fruity with spicy notes in the background, light herbal and balsamic notes. A wine of great elegance and harmony. It is a classic Bolgheri red wine, in which sweet and silky tannins accompany an extremely pleasant-tasting finish.

Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Traubenlese Ende September. Gärung mit den eigenen Hefen, Mazeration 20 Tage. Der Ausbau erfolgt über 15 Monate in französischen Barriques. Neuholzanteil 1/3.
