About the wine
Quinta de la Quietud was founded in 1999 by a group of friendly wine enthusiasts from Barcelona and Valladolid and owns 22 ha. 98% of them are Tinta de Toro, all so-called Bush-Vines. The youngest vines are tender 3 years old, the oldest over 80 years. In the style of a French château, the winery is surrounded by vineyards, which are on a gentle slope. The soils are quite diverse; there are sandy, stony and loamy soils, which account for the lion's share of 80%. The oenologist is Jean-François Hébrard and comes from France. He brought his know-how to none other than Jean Luc Colombo, one of the great Rhone gurus.

Tasting note
Deep purple Intense aromas of black fruits, balsamic and licorice, with mineral tones. On the palate, In Quietud by Nature is very dense, with lots of tannin. A strong personality. Unadulterated, a Tinta de Toro in its absolute purity.
Culinary recommendation
Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: 2019 - 2025. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Toro Corral de Campanas DO passt hervorragend zu Barbecue, Lasagne und Pizza.
Vinification
12 months in 50% American barriques and 50% in steel tanks.
