About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Feudo Disisa is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing landscape of Sicily. This strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 — Tornamira Sicilia IGT is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Fruity on the nose with notes of cherry, raspberry and spices. Full, persistent and harmonious on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes particularly well with meat dishes, game and mature cheeses
Vinification
Selected harvest of grapes. Maceration 10 days. Fermentation at controlled temperature (25-27°C). Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Aging in French oak barrels for 18 months. Bottle aging 12 months.
