Tasting note
In the glass, the wine is deep cherry red with ruby red reflections. On the nose, it develops complex aromas of black fruit, balsamic, coffee, smoke, mineral notes, undergrowth and charcoal. On the palate, it is tasty and balanced, with notes of blueberries, cherries, graphite, tobacco, roasted coffee and leaves.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty dishes, at the end of a meal or in combination with a good cigar.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in American oak barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and a 24-month aging in new 500-liter American oak barrels.
