About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Labastida has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and enchanting landscape of the Upper Ebro. Tasting note
This ruby-red Rioja delights with its strong aromas of red berries, fruit compote and some sour cherry, with slight accents of resin and precious wood. On the palate, it appears juicy with a pleasant freshness, lots of fruit and velvety tannins. A very elegant and fruity Rioja for the best hours of the year.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stews, meat dishes of all kinds, barbecues.
Vinification
The grapes for Tierra Crianza are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks before the malolactic fermentation is carried out partly in cement tanks and partly in oak barrels. It is then aged for 14 months in barriques of various origins.
