Tasting note
The Painter Salento Primitivo IGT's refreshing scent spectrum of black plum, apricot and anise shows aromatic complexity and lots of finesse. The distinctive notes of raspberry, black cherry and blueberry create their individual texture. A medium-bodied red wine with distinctive acidity, which harmoniously develops its individual structure with finely developed tannins on the tongue and on the palate. This top wine received the award: 97/99 Luca Maroni points.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with typical Apulian soup with beans, noodles and ciciri-tria, snails, mussels, meat and poultry.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: Cold pre-maceration. Maceration at controlled temperature, completed malolactically.
