Tasting note
The distinctive aromas of black pepper, spices and tobacco express a lot of finesse with a very special structure. Afterwards, the fruity nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig show their own character. Strong body and outstanding acidity result in the red wine, which shows a lot of character and class with dominant tannins in the mouth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled meat, lamb dishes, game and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from very old Sangiovese vines and are harvested by hand. The wine ages in French oak barrels for 18 months to achieve a perfect balance between fruit, structure and elegance.
