About the wine
Enchanting and picturesque landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Tempore conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. This present Tempranillo 2021 — Terrae Tinto Bajo Aragón IGP is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
Deep and dark shades of color give the Destino an impressive appearance. Its bouquet unfolds tempting aromas of vanilla, chocolate and delicious coffee. Destino is characterized by a perfect balance between the two grape varieties Tempranillo and Garnacha. Silky, full-bodied and extremely pleasant on the palate. A true masterpiece that embodies the perfect symbiosis of wood nuances and fruity richness.
Culinary recommendation
The perfect accompaniment to the intense roasted aromas of grilled dishes — whether steaks, vegetables, BBQ pieces or poultry. Wonderful with beef — from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roast from the oven. Excellent with mature hard cheese — from Parmigiano Reggiano to Sbrinz to pecorino or older alpine cheese.
Vinification
The grapes for Destino grow on limestone and clay soils. The two grape varieties are aged separately, with the Garnacha grapes aged in French oak barrels and the Tempranillo grapes in American oak barrels for twelve months. This differentiated approach makes it possible to accentuate the unique characteristics of each variety and reveal their characteristic nuances.
