Tasting note
A large, noble red wine with lots of depth and fascinating, wide-ranging aromas. Aroma of dark berries, rose petals and violets, dried orange peel, mint, cassis, subtle smoke. Dense and concentrated on the palate, wonderful interplay of sweet fruit extract and sandy tannin, mouth-filling, lingering for a very long time with a wealth of aromas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled beef or pork ragout with chorizio.
Vinification
Vines with significantly reduced yield. Harvested and selected by hand. Fermented in steel tanks, aged in French barriques (25% new) for 24 months. Without fining (no animal proteins) and without filtration.
