About the wine

Together with two of the most traditional wine-growing families in the Alentejo region, Peter Bright founded Terras de Alter in 2004. They pursued the goal of releasing wine on an international level and revolutionizing the image and reputation of Portugal's Alentajo region. Thanks to the dynamic Australian's over 30 years of experience as a winemaker, high-quality and varied wines have been produced under his responsibility year after year since the start of the project. With Zero SO2, Peter Bright even produced Portugal's first sulfite-free red wine.
