The 2022 Tenuta Serpaia Fumaterra from Maremma Toscana is a fresh and structured red with juicy fruit and a precise, balanced feel. Made from 100% Sangiovese, it captures the authentic character of its Tuscan vineyard and the careful craft of Serpaia di Endrizzi – ideal for relaxed nights or paired with your favourite home-cooked meal.

Tasting note
Complex aromas of currants, cranberries, and fine floral notes. On the palate, the Fumaterra is elegant and delicate with a dense, complex middle section and fine-grained, mineral tannin.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef cheeks with rosemary jus, risotto with porcini mushrooms & parmesan chips, Taggiasca olive tart with thyme and canned tomatoes.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation of the grapes picked by hand, then aging for 12 months in 2000-liter barrels. Before being sold, the wine is aged in the bottle for 24 months.
