About the wine
With the Riserva Tenuta Perano, the Frescobaldi family offers a characteristic, versatile and expressive Chianti Classico. The grapes were carefully picked by hand and carefully selected. This riserva matured in oak wood for an impressive 24 months. It is ideal for meat dishes as well as with aromatic semi-hard and hard cheeses.

Tasting note
Ruby red with a slightly brightened edge. The bouquet unfolds in the glass with aromas of red cherries and plums, accompanied by a fine cinnamon spice, which is harmoniously combined with toasty notes. On the palate, the wine shows an appealing concentration, which once again presents red-fruity facets, complemented by bread crust tones, vanilla and cherry liqueur. The ripe, well-integrated tannins give it a concentrated, balanced and long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal for starters such as house pate or game terrines, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, various types of steak, grilled meat and semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
