In the 1980s, he sold luxury labels in the USA. He then went to Bordeaux to satisfy his thirst for oenological knowledge. Andrea Franchetti finally came to the Val d'Orcia in the early nineties, where he laid the foundation for his wine project near the village of Sarteano, which he pursued with extreme consistency from the outset. Since the premiere with the fruits of the year 1995, which was still experimental, Andrea has not let up in his efforts to create wines that, intense and concentrated in such a way that you almost have to chew them, are right at the top.
