About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Triton has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the graceful and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). Tasting note
Dark cherry red with garnet red edges. Fine and complex on the nose, intense aromas of ripe fruit, cocoa and spices as well as nuances of wild herbs. Tasty, balanced and fleshy in the mouth. Strong presence of ripe fruit along with notes of roasted and cocoa. Very round tannins. Long and intense aftertaste. A modern and aromatic all-round Tempranillo.

Vinification
The grapes for this wine come from very old vineyards, some up to 100 years old, located in the Villanueva de Campeán and El Pego (Zamora) areas. The maceration and fermentation takes 20-25 days at a temperature of 25°C in stainless steel tanks. At the end of wine processing, the Tridente Tempranillo is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
