Tasting note
Impresses with intense aromas of ripe dark berries, pepper and spices. On the palate, it is strong and full-bodied, with a balanced structure and soft tannins. Fruity notes of blackberries and plums are combined with subtle notes of oak and vanilla. An elegant yet powerful Zinfandel that offers a nice depth and long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with hearty dishes such as grilled beef, lamb chops or BBQ dishes. Spicy dishes such as chili con carne or a hearty ratatouille also go perfectly with this zinfandel. The wine is also wonderful with mature cheeses such as Stilton or aged cheddar.
