About the wine
This distinctive Monastrell 2017 — Tarima Alicante DO is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Graceful landscapes in Levante give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Volver conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Monastrell can be served very well with sausages or brasato.

Tasting note
The vines used for Tarima were planted between 1972 and 1979. The dry, shallow soil consists primarily of limestone; it is the parent rock there. The soil contains chunks of pure limestone. The combination of soil profile and different altitudes in this area gives this region a very unique terroir.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with meat, beef with dark sauces, grilled or fried, veal with dark sauces.
