Tasting note
Nice dark red with almost black reflections. Tasty, spicy bouquet with aromas of blackberries and mountain herbs, wrapped in floral notes and a touch of pepper. A strong, compact, spicy and fruity wine, smooth and juicy, which reveals a soft and delicate finish.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Some is fermented in Qevri amphoras, another part in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for 9 months partly in French oak barrels, partly in 5000 liter barrels and partly in Qvevri amphoras, followed by a 12-month bottle aging.
