Tasting note
Dark ruby red — the bouquet exudes ripe fruit notes of red plums as well as red and dark berries. The main content of Syrah gives this strong red wine a lot of spice of herbs and typical fleshy nuances, whereas the classic ageing in French oak barrels of 225 liters provides notes of tobacco and cigar box. The Taneto is pleasantly structured and has a medium-long finish. 70% Syrah, 15% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot.
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2031. Flaschenpost team recommends this Taneto Toscana IGT to accompany slightly spicy red meat, poultry and duck.
