About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Cusumano has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily. With the fine Syrah Sicilia IGT from 2015, you will positively surprise your guests.
Tasting note
The fruity aromas of blackberry, bread and jam express a lot of complexity with a very unique structure. Afterwards, the playful nuances of blackcurrant and chocolate reveal their own character. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 15°-18°C. Flaschenpost team is recommended with barbecue, game and roasted vegetables.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: The grape harvest takes place by hand at the end of August. Destemming, maceration, cold maceration and then fermentation at 26-28°C with frequent circulation of the mash. After fermentation, the mash is pressed off. This is followed by malolactic fermentation, after which the wine remains on the wine yeast for at least 5 months. Bottling and storage.
