About the wine
The winery was founded in 1896 in the municipality of Balavaud in Lower Valais. Jean-René Germanier took over the winery from his father. The estate is currently managed by Gilles Besse, Jean-René's nephew, with great success. The company has been completely equipped with new cellar technology in recent years and forms an important framework of Valais wine. Autochthonous grape varieties such as Cornalin, Humagne and Amigne have been part of the Jean-René Germanier program even before the hype about local and traditional things begins.

Tasting note
It has an intense red color with shades of plum. The first aromas on the nose are like an invitation to stroll through a fruit market. It then gradually opens up with notes of spices and precious woods. On the palate, it seduces with its fullness and crunchiness. The tannic structure is clear and elegant at the same time.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, game and game fowl, lamb and cheese.
