Tasting note
Initially spicy and somewhat meaty on the nose, fragrant notes of pressed violets, lavender, blackberries and wild strawberries soon develop with an inviting, earthy fynbos and sweet garrigue spice. However, this cool, elegant diet is primarily about freshness, vitality and tension on the palate, with Tinta Barocca giving the wine additional depth and tannin structure without affecting the overall balance and finesse of the wine.
