This provocative red wine 2015 — Südtiroler Lagrein Terra DOC is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Ritterhof masters this red wine in the picturesque and fertile landscape of South Tyrol. Tasting note
Dark ruby red color with garnet reflections. Subtle aromas of dark berries, wild berries and spicy aromas. Balanced but robust structure, powerful tannins, medium-weight body.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, grilled, red meat.
Vinification
After delivery, the hand-selected grapes are destemmed and fermented in the fermentation tank traditionally for around 10 days at a temperature of 28°C. The aging and storage takes place in large wooden barrels.
