About the wine
Virtus symbolizes the symbiosis of two different family stories and their passion. Because the passion for dressage comes from the grandfather of the current owner Íñigo López de la Osa Escribano. And he owes his passion for viticulture to his mother Paloma Escribano. It comes from an old wine dynasty and has strongly influenced Virtus' values such as innovation, sustainability and biodynamics. Albillo was actually intended as a food grape. But the soils of lime and clay produced such top grapes that a top wine was made from them instead.

Tasting note
I adore the nose with aromas of pine needles and acacia honey, a touch of peach, citrus and grapefruit. You'll be surprised how long and salty/mineral I am on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with seafood, white meat or even a tomahawk with grilled fleur de sel.
Vinification
I was aged partly in stainless steel tanks and in French barriques. During my time of 6 months in the barrel, I was able to enjoy the aging process on the yeast.
