Tasting note
Dense purple with intense aromas of prunes, scented pipe tobacco and milk chocolate, complemented by wild cherries, cigar box and licorice. On a powerful palate, the wine impresses with a gentle texture, wonderful extract sweetness and smooth tannins. The aromatic finale reveals full notes of blue berries, caramel sweets and dark precious woods.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal for starters such as house pâté or wild terrines, dark mushroom sauces and stews. It goes well with dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, various types of steak and grilled meat. It is also an excellent choice with semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
