The Stellenrust Old Bushvine Chenin Blanc exudes a fragrant bouquet of yellow fruits and fresh notes of aromatic limes. These aromas, which have already been sniffed out from the nose, continue seamlessly on the luscious palate, where they are perfectly complemented by delicious nuances of yellow peaches and apples and provide delicious enjoyment with a balanced balance of acidity. Vinification
The grapes for this award-winning Chenin Blanc old bush grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness, slightly squeezed and allowed to rest on the skin over and over. The next day, the juice was filled into pre-coated French oak barrels, where the wine completed a natural vinfication process with only “wild” yeast and then matured on the yeast for seven months.
