About the wine
On the nose, intense fruit aromas of blueberries, blackberries and cassis accompanied by notes of pepper, juniper and laurels as well as subtle roasted aromas. The palate has a complex structure with a pleasant fullness and grippy tannins.

The Staffes Cabernet Riserva DOC's refreshing scent spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape its individual texture. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine presents its masterly quality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised and grilled meat and game dishes.
Vinification
Fermentation in a wooden vat with mash contact for 25 days. Acid degradation and aging for 12 months in barriques; then twelve months of bottle aging.
