About the wine
Kerner had its origins in Lauffen am Neckar in the state training and research institute for wine and fruit growing located there. In 1929, red Trollinger and white Riesling were crossed by grape researcher August Herold. Landolt was the first to plant Kerner in Switzerland in the 90s.

Tasting note
Light greenish yellow. Intense bouquet of exotic fruits, grapefruits and peaches. Complex palate with a powerful breed. Smooth, full-bodied finish.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif. Thanks to its generous fullness and strength, it is also suitable as a meal companion. It goes well with poultry, veal, grilled fish, smoked salmon, terrines and appetizers.
