About the wine
Winemaker Nikola Zeljkovic cultivates the 4-hectare vineyard in accordance with Integrated Production (IP) guidelines. The terraced rows of vines are planted with greenery and thus guarantee the natural growth of the grapes. About 10% of the 4 ha is Gewürztraminer. The yield per hectare of Gewürztraminer is very low. Our Gewürztraminer is left to mash for approx. 14 hours, which allows the aromas and colors to develop to their full potential.

Tasting note
Shiny straw yellow. Subtle, fine bouquet of ripe muscatel grapes. Fresh on the palate, with a wide range of fruit. Nice harmony between subtle acidity and discreet sweetness.
Culinary recommendation
The Gewürztraminer from Burghalde is very suitable as an aperitif. It makes an ideal pair with asparagus or melon.
