About the wine

Maria Ebnicher Ramoser laid the foundation stone for Weinmanufaktur Fliederhof in 1930. A very amazing woman, a strong personality who she absolutely needed to take over and manage the winery from her uncle in these difficult times between the two World Wars. First as a woman! Today, the winery is in transition from the 3rd to the 4th generation. Winemaker and dad, Stefan, likes to be out and about in the vineyard, Mama Astrid loves exchanging ideas with customers and is there for them with a lot of dedication and passion. Son Martin is leading the winery into the future and has converted the business to biodynamic farming and winemaking, certified organic since 2024. The whole family loves nature and its vineyards. Over the years, they have deliberately decided to remain a small 3-hectare winery. This is the only way for every wine to go through their hands. Low yields and the associated high quality are a matter of course for them.
