About the wine
St. Laurent from Frauenfeld comes from vines over 35 years old, which find ideal conditions on rocky soils. After fermentation, the wine ages for around 16 months in small oak barrels from France and Austria. On the nose, there are dark berries and a hint of marzipan; on the palate, it impresses with a fine structure and a long, elegant finish.

Tasting note
Strong ruby garnet, bright purple reflections, delicate in the nose of liquorice, sour cherry jam, orange peel, some vanilla. On the palate, fine tannin structure, very well-integrated wood notes, delicate nougat touch, persistent finish.
Vinification
The fermentation temperature was between 29-31 degrees and this wine was aged for 16 months in small wooden barrels.
