Impressively dense and dark color that goes perfectly with the lush fruit scent. Wonderfully complex abundance of black and red berry fruits of cherry, blackberry, licorice, elderberry, currant, raspberry and strawberry. Due to the intensity of the fruit, the spicy aromas fade into the background, but still form a seductive addition. Wonderful how maturity is combined with cool depth and so a very beautiful radiance comes into its own. Meaty, fruity and juicy at the start with perfectly balanced fruit and structure. The acidity gives the wine a delicate lightness and elegance and makes it float beautifully. The fact that such an intensity can be so light-footed is very impressive.
