About the wine
Contratto already looks back on 150 years of eventful history. The winery specializes in Methodo Classico, which is no coincidence. Because as early as the 1920s and 30s, Contratto was able to produce fine wines for the Vatican and the royal families. In fact, Contratto was also exported to the remotest corners of the British Empire and enjoyed there. Since 2011, Contratto has been owned by Giorgio Rivetti — a very committed and experienced winemaker, who today continues the business with his family. Thanks to his innovative and tireless efforts, Contratto has remained a popular and successful brand.

Tasting note
A wonderfully golden yellow, extremely harmonious and very sparkling spumante with intense aromas of sponge cake and toast, apple, quince and some exotic notes of banana and a touch of citrus fruit. On the palate, it is beautifully fresh, soft and full-bodied, the aftertaste lingers on for a long time.
