About the wine
Friedrich Becker took his own steps with his winery at a young age and developed his unmistakable style early on. In 2010, his Pinot Noir table wine was named “Best Dry Red Wine in Germany” by Gault Millau Germany for the seventh time in a row. Today, he runs the winery together with his son Fritz and is one of the absolute top red wine producers in the country.

Tasting note
Darker and slightly warmer aromas on the nose, which are rounded off by fine herbs, red fruit and elegant wood notes. Compact, structured Pinot Noir, with pleasant ripeness, density and lots of excitement.
Vinification
Manual harvesting and strict selection, the grapes are then destemmed and fermented on the mash with the separately selected ripe black grapes. After three weeks of fermentation in open oak vats and paper, juicing is gently carried out. The further aging takes place in small oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is bottled without filtration.
