Tasting note
Ruby red color with crimson reflections. Its bouquet shows sweet root notes, as well as typical fruit notes, which are reminiscent of cherries, sour cherries and wild berries. The taste is dry, fresh and fruity, well-balanced, elegant, pleasantly soft, with a full, harmonious Kärper.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta dishes with meat sauces, red meats and medium-ripe cheeses.
Vinification
Traditional red winemaking. After 12-day fermentation with skin contact, the wine is stored in stainless steel containers. It is then aged for a short time (about 3 months) in French oak barrels to refine. After bottling, the wine is stored in the bottle for a few more months before being released on the market.
