Tasting note
On the nose, this Tuscan Merlot has an intense aroma of dark fruits, ripe wild berries and fine spices, accompanied by a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is open and juicy, with velvety tannins and a harmonious, medium-weight body. The aftertaste is fresh and fruity.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with grilled meat, pasta with strong sauces or aged cheese.
Vinification
The manually harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel with the grape's own yeasts for 15 days. The wine was then aged for six months in French oak steel tanks and in the bottle for a further three months.
