About the wine

Tasting note
Pure black cherry bouquet with toffee notes and blackberries. On the palate, ripe tannins, uncanny elegance and finesse, fine roasted aromas right down to the long finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes made from lamb, game and beef, and aged cheese.
Vinification
The Merlot grapes come from a privileged vineyard in terraced areas. Thanks to the elevated position above sea level, the grapes benefit from a favourable microclimate. The soil is rich in iron, which gives Merlot-Sonoro its unique character. The wine is aged for 8 months in new French barriques, then 12 months in bottle storage.
