Tasting note
A pure Sangiovese. The nose image shows aromas of red berries, dried cranberries, cherry juice and juicy plums, accompanied by finely spicy notes of fresh mountain hay, tobacco, sun-dried tomatoes and subtle graphite tones. On the palate, red berry fruit, showing a certain “Rosso di Montalcino” affinity, with lots of pressure, present but well-integrated tannins, nice freshness and great length.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with various pasta dishes, such as with sweet cherry tomatoes, olives and herbs or with porcini sauce, also wonderful with braised meat, such as ossobuco or lamb ragout with wild fennel.
