Tasting note
Manzoni Bianco is a grape variety that was bred by Professor Luigi Manzoni back in the 1930s. Michele Ranieri completely ages the wine in steel tanks. The bouquet features aromas of white peach, ripe star fruit and candied citrus fruits, plus a touch of exoticism, underpinned by floral-spicy notes of meadow herbs, white flowers and moist gravel. On the palate, it shows juicy, fresh fruit, with a nice extract sweetness and a delicately salty spice in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful wine for an aperitif with antipasti, pickled vegetables, olives and pecorino cubes. But also great as an accompaniment to various fish dishes and seafood, as well as to poultry.
