About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Antinori conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Solaia is ruby red in color and offers an intense, complex bouquet with wild berries such as blueberries, raspberries and black currants, combined with sweet notes of plums, black cherries and fresh mint, myrtle and licorice. Floral notes of lavender, cocoa, dried fruit and spices such as cloves and pink pepper complete the bouquet. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins that result in a long, persistent finish with mint, licorice and chocolate.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Perfect with Gruyère burgers, ribeye steak and red meat. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2021.
